Validate and expedite open order book for MHI RJ purchase orders currently delaying customer back orders.
Act as the primary point of contact between the client and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
Prioritize expediting activities based on client needs and critical supply requirements.
Investigate bottlenecks, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to recover delays.
Assess supplier capacity (people, machines, competencies) to meet delivery timelines.
Perform on-site reviews of supplier records and production status to confirm alignment with requirements.
Develop and propose improvement plans, including long-term agreements (LTA) linked to upcoming Master Service Agreement (MSA).
Conduct recovery plans, root cause analysis, and implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
Provide strategic recommendations for long-term solutions to secure supply chain stability.
Collaborate with production managers, manufacturing engineers, and supply chain planners to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Extensive experience in supply chain, expediting, and production planning within aerospace or manufacturing environments.
Strong background in manufacturing operations and technical understanding of production processes.
Proven ability to work on the production floor and interact with planning, engineering, and management teams.
At least one experience in a management role with authority to implement changes in supply chain processes.
Ability to identify issues, propose corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, operational engineering, and line of balance techniques.
