Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces. Adhere to food safety standards during food preparation and handling to ensure a safe dining experience for all customers. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication. Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours while maintaining quality service.

Requirements

Previous barista experience or relevant experience in the food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of various coffee types is highly desirable. Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Strong attention to detail in both beverage preparation and cafe cleanliness standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-16.95 per hour
