Job Description

A traditional farming estate based in Norfolk comprising of 1,800 acres of arable cropping and 400 acres of woodland, pasture and beef suckler cows, is now seeking an Experienced Arable Operator to join a small team.
The successful applicant must be forward thinking, versatile, safety conscious and be anenthusiastic team player but also have the ability to be able to work on their own. They will be expected to work to all seasonal work patterns and assist with all elements of the farming system.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Day to day running of the arable unit and its small skilled team, reporting directly to the owner/estate manager.

• An ability to keep accurate records. A knowledge of IT and Gatekeeper software is desirable

• Ensuring that all arable activities are conducted in a timely fashion.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, diligent and flexible individual who hasexceptional communication and leadership skills with a proven track record in cropproduction. Training can be provided as required.
