For more than 30 years Fastlink has been a sector leader manufacturing Cable Assemblies, Cable Harnesses and Box Builds. From our Swindon factory, we supply products to innovative high tech customers, including world class engineering giants.

We are looking for an Experienced Cable Operator to start immediately.

As an experienced Cable Operator, you will be working within a team working on cable assemblies and looms.

Key responsibilities:

Follow manufacturing drawings, process control documents and Codes of Practice, Quality, Safety, General standards and Company Procedures. Build Cable assemblies and looms as required To contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and quality within the department.

Experience required:

You

must

have previous experience in soldering, crimping, connector assembly, and cable preparation. Experience in looming and harnessing would be an advantage. Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams

Desired:

A practical hands-on approach, with good concentration and attention to detail. Show initiative and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Be prepared to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge. Be flexible to work in different departments. Be an effective communicator, both written and verbal. To work overtime when required. A willingness to get involved and be happy to move between production departments on occasions is also vital to success in this role.
Our team of employees work full-time Monday to Thursday, between 8.00 am and 4.30 pm. As for Fridays, we finish at 4. 00pm.

Pay is dependent on experience and we also aim to pay profit-based bonuses twice yearly.
