experienced, local Bar Tender

home for the Christmas holidays from uni?

The Griffin, a renowned 17th-century seaside pub and restaurant in stunning Dale, Pembrokeshire, is looking for a skilled and energetic Bar Tender to join our team for the busy Christmas season from 20 December to 3 January.

If you are a student returning from university or a local professional seeking seasonal work, and can confidently manage a busy bar, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

As our seasonal Bar Tender, you'll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the bar during our busiest time of the year.

Preparing and serving drinks

--, local ales, wines, and spirits, cocktails--to a high standard.

Managing the bar area

--including stock rotation, cleanliness, and adhering to licensing laws.

Processing orders and payments

accurately and efficiently.

Providing excellent customer service

and creating a vibrant, friendly bar atmosphere. Liaising with the Front of House team to ensure seamless service.
What We're Looking For:

We require a candidate who can hit the ground running and handle the festive rush.

Proven experience as a Bar Tender

(essential).

Strong knowledge of drink preparation

, including basic cocktails.

Must be local to the Pembrokeshire area

and able to commute daily.

Exceptional attention to detail

and professional approach.

Availability is crucial:

Must be available evenings, weekends, and key bank holidays (, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, etc.).

Part-time hours:

Approximately 25-40 hours per week (may vary based on demand).
