Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, following company recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations. Handle cash transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system while maintaining accuracy in basic maths calculations. Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly. Restock supplies as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the cafe during shifts. Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of

food safety

regulations is desirable. Experience with

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Basic

food preparation

skills, including handling ingredients and assembling drinks. Good

time management

skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour to enhance customer experience. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
