We have recently merged with another respected accountancy firm and we are seeking a skilled and reliable Bookkeeper to join our professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to a well-regarded firm that values precision, integrity, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for a range of clients Prepare and submit VAT returns and other submissions to Government Bodies Reconcile bank accounts and manage ledgers Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide support Collaborate with accountants to ensure smooth year-end processes
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within an accountancy practice Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks etc) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent communication and client service abilities A proactive and professional approach to work Must have the right to work in the UK Candidates must be able to commute to our Crewe office within a reasonable time Self-employed applicants will not be considered

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
