An established accountancy practice, just outside Little Eaton, we are currently seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join our team.
Your role
In this role, you will:
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
Perform month-end account duties, including journal entries and reporting
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
Assist with the preparation of management accounts
Provide day-to-day client support and advisory services
Who you are
An individual with proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (Practice or Industry)
Someone with a strong understanding of VAT, double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations
Proficient in the main accounting software packages, eg Xero, Sage, Quickbooks
Someone with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A willingness to visit clients' premises when required
This is a full or part-time role, Monday to Friday, based in our Little Eaton office.

Pay: 25,000.00-32,000.00 per year
