Job Description

650NED is a fast growing Outsourced Finance Team and business consultancy for small and medium sized businesses.

Due to a phase of growth, we're now looking for a full time Experienced Bookkeeper.

We're not looking to be a large firm with hundreds of clients, instead we look to get really engrained with the clients and their teams, and act as part of their business (which means we get invited to team days, Christmas Parties etc just like the rest of their teams), so your client base will be small and you'll need to be prepared to communicate effectively with them regularly and provide support when they need.

You'll be responsible for the day to day bookkeeping of several clients with turnover between 500k and 10m, based across the country.

It is imperative that you have a strong bookkeeping and reconciliation background and can understand which 'boxes' transactions need to fit into across various different industries.

There may be some occasional travel outside the office in Milton Keynes.

We work on a hybrid model, working both at the office and remotely.

Bookkeeping:



Administration across various clients, to include but not limited to:

- Entering purchase invoices.

- Raising sales invoices.

- Bank reconciliations.

- Supplier and customer reconciliations.

- VAT returns.

- Payroll.

- Payment runs.

- Dealing with customer inquiries and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

- Managing documentation within the business.

- Responding to communications both internal and external.

You will need:



- Experience in a similar role (in industry is fine).

- VERY organised.

- Pro-active and self starting.

- The confidence to ask for help where needed.

- Excellent written and verbal skills.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Proficiency in using Microsoft tools and Xero.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- A sense of humour (otherwise you'll hate me!).

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
