Hours: 40 hrs - Monday - Friday: 9 am - 6 pm with 30 minutes for lunch
Purpose of your job:
To provide full support to the passionate MD/Owner
Main responsibilities:
Managing emails, diaries and organizing meetings and appointments for the MD
Reminding the MD of important tasks and deadlines
Communicating and coordinating all needs of the MD to the rest of the business
Coordinate weekly management meetings between heads of departments and MD
Maintaining procedures & administrative systems
Coordinate employing and inductions of staff including advertising, interviews,
offer letters, contracts, welcome emails
Compiling and preparing reports, cost sheets and presentations
Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
Researching products and buying/selling on Ebay
Complaint Handling
General responsibilities:
Carry out roles as set out and in accordance with ongoing Performance Reviews & Objectives
Compliance with the Heart of England Team Charter including all safeguards,
policies & procedures:
Grievance Procedure, Personal Harassment Policy, Data Protection Policy, Computer, Email, Internet & Mobile Phone Policy, Data Protection Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy, Licensing Regulations, Health & Safety Policies, Whistleblowing Policy, Food Handling Policy when appropriate & Cash Handling when applicable.
Job Specific plus Qualifications & Experience:
IT Literate and competent with Microsoft programs including:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Good level of English both oral and written
Good level of Maths
Excellent Communication Skills
Demonstrated Background as PA
Knowledge of how to use Apple Iphones and Ipads
Knowledge of Hubspot and Access would be advantageous
Background in Events /Hospitality
Non-Job Specific Qualifications & Experience:
Hold a Full Driving License
Communicate effectively with the public, other team members and all levels of management
Experience of running a business
Experience in HR would be an advantage
