We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and cooking are carried out efficiently and safely. Create and develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency. Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food preparation. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A creative approach to menu development with an understanding of current culinary trends.
