The role:

We are currently looking to recruit an

experienced

CNC Turner who can work as an individual or as part of team.

You must be able to able to Program CNC Turning machines referencing the detail drawing,

manufacturing parts up to a metre in diameter.

You will be a key member of the machine shop team, and will actively be involved in the creating, editing and proving out of CNC programs as well as manufacturing and self-inspection of quality components individually or as part of an assembly. This role covers both new products and existing parts from one offs to small batches.

Applicants must be within travelling distances from Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

To program CNC machines To operate CNC machines To set CNC machines To work to tight tolerances and check own work To work, following training, to customer drawings and specifications To work with minimum supervision

Role Requirements:

The role is primarily based at our Nottingham production facility, however you will need to be flexible, providing cover at our Hinckley facility when required to meet business needs. Access to transport. Must be able to program, set and operate CNC lathes. Fanuc knowledge would be preferred but not essential as training will be given to right candidate. Must have skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools Must have ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings To work with minimum supervision

Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
