Job Summary

As a Sassy Coffee Assistant, you will be the face of Sassy Coffee, responsible for serving delicious coffee beverages and creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers. Whether you're an experienced barista or new to the coffee world, we value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We provide comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Beverages: Serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty items With the use of our bean to cup touch button coffee machines.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about our products.

Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash balances.

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the counter, seating area, and restrooms.

Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of our menu, including seasonal offerings and specialty drinks. Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and pairings.

Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and inventory management, including restocking coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Uphold Standards: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Skills needed:

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions and inventory counts
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and adherence to food safety guidelines
