RESPONSIBILITES
Complex Care - WAKING NIGHT ROLE (not sleeping or on call)
You will be responsible to provide waking night care to young adult with complex health needs.
This young adult is quadriplegic and totally dependant on carers for daily living. He really enjoys drama, music therapy, baking, rebound therapy, arts and crafts and hydrotherapy. He is non verbal but uses symbols and an eye gaze to communicate. He is PEG fed, past experience of PEG feeding is essential. He requires full support for personal care and daily living.

Range of shifts 6hrs-12hrs,
Part time work 1 to 3 shifts/week
CARER REQUIREMENT
We are looking for conscientious, dedicated individuals to join our team
Good communication skills, experience of clients who are non verbal is preferable (eg symbols) and use of Eye gaze equipment, PEG Feeding, Suctioning, sats monitoring, epilepsy experience is preferable
A minimum of at least 3-years Care experience in complex care needs (PEG feeding, suction)
Must be flexible and available to cover occasional shifts during weekends.
Full drivers' license own vehicle is essential (Not on a bus route route)
Bank account in the UK
Written and spoken English to an intermediate level
Must be in good health and have a good attendance record.
Have the right to work in the UK
Must be a non-smoker
Expected start date: ASAP
