Premier News Food & Wine are hiring keen and able staff members for multiple locations throughout Dundee. We own multiple convenience stores within prime locations within the city centre and other surrounding busy areas of Dundee. We are looking for dedicated, trustworthy and hardworking staff members. It is compulsory that all applicants have prior or current experience of having worked within a similar environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on tills, using pay point, lottery, stock rotation and will be able to maintain high standards within the store. We want friendly, reliable and dedicated applicants to apply and join our team! FULL TIME and PART TIME roles are available.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Manage cash register operations, including processing transactions and handling cash accurately. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring shelves are stocked and merchandise is displayed attractively. Utilize effective communication skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues. Employ time management to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to enhance store operations and customer experience.

Summary

As an Experienced Convenience Store Staff member, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining store operations. Reporting to the Store Manager, your core communication skills will facilitate effective interactions with customers and team members. Your premium abilities in merchandising and multilingual communication will enhance the shopping experience. Additionally, relevant skills such as basic math, time management, and organizational skills will ensure efficient transactions and store organization. Pay: 12.30-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
