We're looking for a confident and experienced property professional who can manage their own caseload and support others within the team.
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years PQE
as a Solicitor, ILEX or CLC-qualified Licensed Conveyancer.
Alternatively,
10+ years' experience
as a Conveyancer handling your own files.
Strong experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing transactions including:
Sales and purchases
Remortgages
Shared ownership
Lease variations
New builds
Help to Buy
Transfers of equity
Ability to
hit the ground running
, work independently, and manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
The Role
You will play a key role in our conveyancing team, managing varied transactions from start to finish and providing support to junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a full caseload of residential property matters from instruction to post-completion.
Deal with freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, equity release, and matrimonial transfers.
Review titles, draft contracts, raise and respond to enquiries, and manage completions.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide cover for other office locations when required.
Maintain professional and courteous relationships with all colleagues and clients.
Adhere to firm-wide policies, procedures, and departmental performance standards.
Demonstrate high standards of legal knowledge, case management, and client service.
Conduct property searches and check legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
Prepare and submit Land Registry applications and associated documents.
Ensure all transactions meet legal and regulatory standards.
Keep abreast of changes in property law and conveyancing best practices.
Supervise and provide training to conveyancing assistants and junior team members.
Support business development by building strong local client relationships and cross-referring work where appropriate.
