About Us:



Spinney Brook Dental Practice is a well-established, patient-focused dental clinic located in the heart of Irthlingborough. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care in a friendly and supportive environment. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming team.

We are a mixed NHS and private practice offering a range of high end dental treatments including Invisalign, teeth whitening, Implants, facial aesthetics and general dentistry.

The right candidate should have excellent communication skills, work well within a team and have a warm friendly empathetic approach and have telephone manners. Previous dental experience / knowledge is preferred but not essential. Also you may be required to cover holidays or some Saturdays (which will be on a rota basis).

Role Overview:


We are seeking a professional and personable Dental Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the front desk and providing outstanding customer service.

Your Key Responsibilities:



Welcoming patients to the practice and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process Managing appointment bookings, reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling Handling inbound and outbound calls with efficiency and empathy Coordinating with dentists and nurses to manage the appointment diary effectively Processing payments and managing patient accounts Supporting with administrative tasks such as referrals, recalls, and data entry Ensuring all patient information is kept confidential and secure in line with GDPR and practice policies Maintaining a clean and organised reception area. Finance system and follow all practice protocols and procedures.

Requirements:



Previous experience in a dental or medical reception role is desirable but not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong IT and administrative abilities Professional, friendly, and patient-focused attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Confident , Extremely presentable, Reliable, Approachable, Punctual, Organised Have excellent communication skills and impeccable command of English with great sense of humor. Actively asking satisfied patients to leave reviews, providing them with a direct link to the practice's Google Business Profile, following up with gentle reminders, and responding to reviews to show patient appreciation and engagement.
