Job Summary



We are seeking a

friendly, professional, and highly organised Front of House Dental Receptionist

to join our welcoming dental practice. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive and lasting first impression, while ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all front-of-house operations. Exceptional customer service skills and a warm, approachable manner are essential.

Duties



Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling as necessary. Handle incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries. Assist with insurance verification and claims processing. Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and well-presented at all times. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow within the practice.

Qualifications



Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is essential. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in using office software and dental management systems is advantageous. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A friendly, confident, and approachable personality with a passion for providing outstanding patient care.

Ideal Candidate


The ideal candidate will be an

experienced Dental Receptionist or a Dental Nurse with reception experience

, looking to progress into a

Treatment Coordinator (TCO), receptionist, or administrative role

. A naturally chatty and friendly demeanour is a must, as is a proactive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for patient interaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour
