New Park House Dental Centre is one of the longest established dental practices in Shrewsbury. The practice delivers excellent standards of general, cosmetic, orthodontic and implant dentistry and is focused on patient care.
We are looking to recruit a full-time receptionist to join our friendly and professional team. Previous dental experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
The role
The role of a dental receptionist is very varied and never boring! Working as part of a team, the day to day tasks would include:
- Booking appointments and managing the diary system
- Answering patient queries
- Dealing with telephone calls
- Handling payments
- General administration tasks
- Adhering to practice policies regarding confidentiality

Our reception team are at the forefront of delivering patient care and promoting our practice standards. The ideal candidate will be someone who is friendly, caring, professional and takes pride in their work.
Required skills
- Excellent communication skills both over the phone and face to face
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently and accurately
- High level of IT proficiency
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Initiative and adaptability
Pay - depending on experience
Hours - 38.75 hours (Mon-Fri with flexibility)
