Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced drainage layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drainage installation and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various construction techniques and tools. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure effective drainage solutions are implemented, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Duties

Install and maintain drainage systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with regulations. Operate and handle various power tools and hand tools effectively. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process. Assemble components of drainage systems, ensuring accuracy and quality in workmanship. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Conduct basic mathematical calculations to determine measurements and material requirements. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation or maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience in drainage installation or similar construction roles. The following skills are essential or highly desirable:

Experience with heavy lifting tasks associated with construction work. Competence in using power tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues. Experience driving commercial vehicles may be beneficial for transporting materials on-site.

Pay: 11.44-18.00 per hour
