Job Description

Due to continued growth we are looking for an experience Driver / plant operator for long and short haul projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks.

Duties (not limited to)

Assist in the delivery & collection of materials and equipment

Driving to and from suppliers and customers premises

Operate plant whilst on site and at our factory to assist with the company's undertakings

Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations

Perform general site maintenance and housekeeping tasks

Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely and effectively

Experience

Familiarity with construction and manual handling practices is advantageous

Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated

Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors

Slinger and vehicle marshalling experience

A good level of physical fitness to handle the demands of the role

Essential

Previous working knowledge of operating:

Long wheelbase transit van with/without trailer

4x4 with / without trailer

Plant operator - certification to operate tracked excavator above 5 tonnes

Requirements when necessary to work away from home for short periods

CSCS card

Core hours

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Early starts and late finishes dependant on needs of the business

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 - 60 per week
