We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Level English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning effective, engaging learning experiences and ensuring that each child receives quality support in every session, with clear progress in their learning journey. With a focus on foundational skills in reading, phonics, and handwriting, the teacher will inspire and guide young learners, helping them build confidence, literacy skills, and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and design effective English sessions that focus on foundational skills in reading, phonics, and handwriting, ensuring an individualised experience for each child while incorporating group synergy sessions where appropriate. Provide tailored support during each session, ensuring every child receives the attention they need to progress consistently and master key literacy skills. Conduct regular assessments to monitor individual progress, adapting sessions as needed to foster continuous growth and development. Cultivate a positive, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love for reading and writing. Ensure that all sessions are aligned with the centre's principles, taking direction as needed to maintain consistency and uphold our educational standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on their child's progress and offer insights into areas for additional support.
Qualifications:

- Mathematics and English GCSE

- Teaching experience with primary aged children (Reception to Year 6)

- Teaching certification or qualification (QTS, PGCE, etc.) is desired.

- Montessori teaching certification or experience is highly desired.

- Strong knowledge of English curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

- Experience with Montessori materials and methods.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Enthusiasm for fostering a love of learning and mastery in mathematics.

- Ability to utilise technology and AI tools to enhance teaching efficiency and reduce reliance on printed materials, incorporating digital resources that support each child's learning journey.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
