Job Description
we are currently looking for
experienced Groundwork Finishing Gangs
for ongoing work on a busy construction/civils site based in Exeter. Ideal for established 3-man gangs with a strong track record in delivering high-quality finishing work in groundwork and civil engineering environments.Key Duties:
Finishing works including kerbing, edging, slabbing, block paving, and tarmacking Working to site levels, lines, and drawings Preparing ground and laying sub-base materials Drainage finishing and manhole surrounds Working closely with site managers and other trades to meet deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience in groundwork finishing Full PPE and own tools CSCS card (essential) CPCS/NPORS (for machine operators within the gang - if applicable) Ability to read and work from drawings/plans Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Preferred:
SSSTS/SMSTS for gang leaders Street works ticket (NRSWA) Machine tickets (360/Forward Tipping Dumper/Roller)
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42 per week
Work Location: In person
