We are D Noble Limited, a family-run housebuilder with over 60 years experience creating exceptional homes across Yorkshire. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable

Groundworks Gang

to join our growing team on a permanent basis, focusing on vital roads and sewers projects in and around the Castleford area.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a full, established gang (e.g., Ganger, 360 Excavator Operator, Dumper Driver, Groundworkers) with a proven track record in:

Deep Drainage & Sewer Installation:

Foul and storm water systems, manhole construction, pipe laying (all depths and diameters).

Road Construction:

Sub-base preparation, kerbing, flagging, ducting, and associated civil works.

Excavation & Trenching:

Safe and efficient operation of plant for various groundworks. Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications. Adhering strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

Essential Requirements for the Gang:

Proven experience

working together as a Groundworks Gang on roads and sewers projects. Relevant

CSCS cards

for all members.

CPCS/NPORS tickets

for machine operators (360 Excavator above & below 10T, Forward Tipping Dumper, Roller). Understanding of

site logistics and programming

. Strong commitment to

Health & Safety

best practices. Excellent

teamwork and communication

skills. Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing site conditions.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

NRSWA (Streetworks)

accreditation (for relevant members). Confined Spaces certification. First Aid qualification (for at least one member). Experience with laser levels and setting out.
