Working FIRAS Supervisor - Residential Projects
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced
Working FIRAS Supervisor
to join our team on residential projects. This is a hands-on role where you will both supervise fire door maintenance works and carry out installations to a high standard, ensuring full FIRAS compliance.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and work alongside fire door maintenance operatives on residential sites Carry out fire door maintenance installations (penetrations, batt & mastic, collars, wraps, joints, etc.) Ensure all works meet FIRAS standards and manufacturer details Complete QA records, photos, and installation paperwork Liaise with site management and attend inspections when required Maintain high health & safety standards on site
Requirements:
Proven experience in residential fire stopping FIRAS Supervisor or Installer certification Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems Ability to read drawings and follow specifications CSCS Card (Supervisor or Skilled Worker) Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Passive Fire Protection SSSTS / SMSTS
