Are you a highly skilled and meticulous bridal fitter with a passion for perfection? We're an alterations company seeking a talented freelance individual to join our team two days a week, ensuring every bride looks and feels exquisite on her special day.

We specialize in providing alterations for a variety of wedding dresses, including exquisite corseted gowns, delicate lace appliques, and luxurious silk fabrics. Your experience with these specialized materials and constructions, and your exceptional attention to detail, will be absolutely essential in achieving a flawless fit for these intricate designs.

This role requires travel between West London and High Barnet locations, so reliable commute is a must.

Key Requirements:

Proven Bridal Fitting Experience: You'll need a strong background in bridal alterations, demonstrating a deep understanding of garment construction, especially with corseted, lace, and silk gowns.

Exceptional Attention to Detail: Precision is paramount. You'll need an eagle eye for even the smallest imperfections and the ability to achieve a flawless fit on delicate and complex fabrics.

Excellent Time Management & Teamwork: Our bridal season is extremely busy and fast-paced. You must be able to work efficiently in a timely manner, follow instructions, and collaborate effectively as part of a team to ensure every bride's experience is seamless.

Responsibilities

Fit and alter bridal gowns to ensure a perfect fit for clients, paying close attention to details. Manage time effectively to meet client appointments and deadlines. Communicate clearly in English with clients to understand their preferences and provide exceptional service. Collaborate with bridal shop staff to maintain inventory and assist in selecting styles. Ensure a high standard of quality in all fittings and alterations.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week

You will be required to do bridal fittings in West London a bridal boutique in a weekly basis and sometimes will be required to travel to the alterations studio in High Barnet to do some bridal fittings there as well. Flexible with travelling to both is very important and must be reliable
