Are you an Experienced Gardener with a passion for gardening?

Are you ready to get hands on maintaining and establishing a beautiful garden based in South Bristol?

If so, then please read on because you could be exactly who we are looking for to take the lead on the maintenance duties of a stunning garden and long-term project garden of ours.

This role will always be engaging and varied because of the varied nature of the ongoing maintenance and management duties of the role. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team on a part time or self-employed basis. Previous experience in garden maintenance is essential for this role. A good knowledge of gardening practises and the maintenance of plant borders and lawns is required.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance to include grass cutting, lawn edging, pruning and weeding. Carry out seasonal gardening such as planting, transplanting and the general care of a wide range of plants. Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Keep records of maintenance activities and work closely with the project manager to identify garden requirements, plus giving your own input on making changes and/or ongoing improvements to the garden.

Qualifications

Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is essential. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. A passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through effective maintenance practices.

The current position is for a minimum of 2 days (16 hours) per week working on the grounds of a single property located in south Bristol. There is opportunity for hours to increase with seasonal maintenance as well as your involvement in various project tasks in establishing this developing garden.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
