Job Summary
We are now seeking an
experienced Glue Minder with strong supervisory capability
to join our Cut, Crease & Finishing department. This senior role is ideal for a skilled operator ready to step up, or an existing supervisor with deep technical knowledge of glue line machinery and carton production.
You will oversee glue line operations, ensure quality output, support the development of others, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and #SafetyFirst.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, set up, and optimise glue line machinery for efficient, high-quality production runs
Lead and support a small team on shift, providing guidance, training, and problem-solving
Monitor quality to ensure full compliance with food and healthcare industry standards
Identify and resolve technical issues and escalate when required
Maintain hygiene, safety, and environmental standards through routine maintenance and cleaning
Drive high standards of safety and promote a positive working culture
Collaborate with finishing and production teams to ensure workflow efficiency
Skills & Experience Required
Significant experience
as a Glue Minder in packaging / print / carton manufacturing (essential)
Supervisory or lead operator experience
within a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality
Clear communication and effective teamwork skills
Ability to use pallet trucks; FLT licence advantageous
Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements in manufacturing
Ability to meet the physical demands of moving and positioning materials
Shift Pattern
We operate a rotating 3?shift system (Days, Lates, Nights), Monday to Friday.
Each shift is 8 hours with a 30?minute paid lunch break.
