Job Description

Experienced groundworker required to work on private home extensions in the Cheshire region for a Design & Build construction company based in Dukinfield.

Full driving licence required (will be driving a company van) and essential skills needed to complete the following tasks:-

Job Role - GROUND WORKER/GENERAL LABOURING AND CONSTUCTION DUTIES

Setting up site including signage and drive protection Using equipment and tools effectively to perform construction tasks. Removing and installing drainage / manholes Interpreting drawings and technical specifications. Following technical specifications and plans to perform Groundwork/construction tasks Preparing the ground and digging foundations in preparation for concrete being poured Carrying out breakthroughs to technical specifications including all propping and steel installations Helping other trades with tasks when requested Delivering materials and clearing sites (General labouring jobs) when requested Operating plant machinery - Small diggers up to 1.5ton and skip loaders
The successful candidate will have the following skills:

Full driving licence essential Good problem-solving skills Small bricklaying experience to infill after breakthroughs Be able to erect studwork for security screens Enthusiastic with a good work ethic Working effectively as part of a team and alone when required Ability to follow instructions.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
