We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hairdressing, with skills in cutting and colouring. This role requires excellent customer service abilities and effective communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while providing exceptional styling services.

Duties

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and offer tailored recommendations Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and boost salon sales although this is not pushed in our Salon. Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Assist in front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their development Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry trends

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role within the beauty industry Strong skills in hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining client satisfaction Previous experience in store management or mentoring is an advantage although not essentia.
