THE POSITION

We're currently seeking a motivated and reliable

HGV Removals Driver

to join our established removals company. This is not just a driving job - you'll be a key part of a professional team that supports clients during significant life transitions such as home and office moves.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving HGV vehicles (Class 2 minimum) for domestic and commercial removals.

Safely load, transport and unload auction items, including antiques, furniture and valuables.

Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during collections or deliveries.

Assist with packing, lifting and handling items, ensuring all are secure during transportation.

Ensure the upmost care is taken with clients, public and third-party possessions.

Ensuring the cleanliness and general upkeep of the site and vehicles.

Working as part of a crew, sometimes staying overnight as needed.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license

Previous experience in removals or similar hands-on logistics role

Strong attention to detail and a careful, responsible attitude towards handling items.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy or bulky items.

Punctual, reliable and professional at all times.

Good written and spoken English

Able to listen to and carry out instructions

Flexible approach to days and hours worked

Available for nights out as required

No two days are the same and therefore you will need a positive mindset and a flexible approach to working hours.

SALARY FROM 34700 (based on 42.5 hours per week) plus overtime, phone allowance and attendance bonus.
