The Role

We are currently seeking a

reliable and motivated HGV Removals Driver

to join our experienced removals team within our Sandersons Removals Team at LS23 7AU. This role goes beyond driving -- you'll be a key part of a crew that helps people through significant life changes, such as moving home or relocating offices.

Key Responsibilities

Drive HGV vehicles for both domestic and commercial removals Safely load, transport, and unload a wide range of items, including antiques, furniture, and other valuables Complete all relevant documentation with accuracy and attention to detail Deliver outstanding customer service during collections and deliveries Assist with packing, lifting, and handling of items to ensure safe transportation Treat client possessions -- and those of the public -- with care and professionalism Help maintain the cleanliness and condition of vehicles and work areas Collaborate effectively with the removals crew, including occasional overnight stays

What We're Looking For

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence Previous removals or hands-on logistics experience preferred Strong attention to detail and a careful, responsible approach to handling items Excellent communication and people skills Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy or awkward items Punctual, reliable, and professional in all situations Fluent in spoken and written English Willingness to listen, learn, and follow instructions Flexible with working hours, including availability for overnight stays when required

SALARY FROM 34700 (based on 42.5 hours per week) plus overtime, phone allowance and attendance bonus.
