Victoria Square Hotel

is a 41-bedroom independent hotel in the wonderful Clifton Village area of Bristol.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our small, friendly team.
The ideal candidate MUST have experience gained within a hotel, and will therefore appreciate and revel in the day to day expectations of the hospitality industry.

Your principal role

will be to welcome our guests, check them in and out, provide any help or advice during their stay, and to liaise with other departments within the property.

Your main duties

will include operating the PMS (Rez-Control), cash handling, and ensuring all administrative duties are undertaken meticulously. The role of our receptionists include administration duties that would usually be undertaken by senior receptionists or reception supervisors, so this position is 'full-on' and offers an ideal route into greater career prospects.

Personally

, you need to be well presented, communicative, efficient, professional, outgoing, have a real passion for people and hospitality, and a desire to exceed expectations.

Shifts will be a mix of 8am-4pm and 3pm-11pm and will include weekend work

. There may also be the opportunity for extra shifts during holidays and busy trading times.

Initial informal interviews and any subsequent interviews will be at the hotel.
