We are looking for a

confident and skilled kitchen team member

to join our vibrant indoor park cafe. This is not a trainee position -- applicants must have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Job Duties:

As a key member of our Kitchen Team, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

Assemble and prepare various food items including hot sandwiches, freshly made pizzas, children's meals, and party platters.

Cooking:

Assist with cooking and grilling duties, ensuring food is consistently cooked to high standards and presented well.

Nursery Meals:

Be experienced and confident in preparing age-appropriate, nutritious nursery meals to a high standard, with attention to portion sizes, allergens, and presentation.

Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly manner, take accurate orders, and deliver a positive customer experience.

Order Processing:

Ensure orders are prepared and delivered in a timely and organized fashion.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Keep the kitchen clean and organized in line with health and safety standards.

Stock Management:

Monitor and restock kitchen supplies to prevent shortages and delays.

Cash Handling:

Process payments accurately when working the Cafe counter.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Menu Input:

Offer creative suggestions for menu improvements and seasonal specials.

Standards Compliance:

Follow all kitchen policies and procedures to maintain consistent food quality and service.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a professional kitchen is REQUIRED
