Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to fabricate sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Assemble and fabricate components as per project requirements. Utilise hand tools and machinery for grinding and finishing tasks. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and tooling techniques. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly and finishing work. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
