Due to continued business growth, we are looking to expand our team and are currently recruiting experienced Passive Fire Protection Operatives to join us on a full-time, directly employed basis.

About the Role

As a key member of our fire safety team, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of passive fire protection installations across various sectors and locations. Work will primarily involve live and occupied environments, such as:

Multi-occupancy housing blocks

Public amenity buildings

Healthcare facilities

Educational institutions

Commercial buildings

Student accommodation

Security-sensitive workplaces

Key Responsibilities

Installation of passive fire protection systems, including:

- Batt and mastic sealing

- Fire collars

- Fire-rated access panels

- Loft hatches

- Meter over boxes

- Roof compartmentation using barrier systems

- Use of FR (Fire-Resistant) mortar

Ensure all works are compliant and completed:

- In accordance with manufacturer installation instructions

- To the highest safety and quality standards

Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent qualification) - essential

Proven experience in passive fire stopping installation

Good understanding/knowledge of fire stopping regulations

Sound knowledge of various fire protection products and systems

Ability to work in occupied and sensitive environments in a professional manner

A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude

Willingness to travel nationally as required
