Job Description

We are excited to be able to increase the size of our experienced team as we venture into a new era of Community Pharmacy. We have a Full Time Position available for Experienced Pharmacy Counter Assistants at our branch in St Leonards, Exeter.

Hours are made up of 8-9 hr shifts each day, throughout the week: Monday - Friday, between 9am - 9pm,
Weekend shifts are 6-7hours: Saturdays 9am - 8pm and Sundays 9am - 4pm. Set days and shift patterns are available so please get in touch to discuss more.

The branch is fully established and has excellent, friendly team to support anyone wishing to start a new challenge. This is a consistent paced environment in the largest pharmacy in Exeter.

Pharmacy Experience is preferred and full training will be provided to ensure competency on our systems. Must be well presented, cheerful, well-mannered and punctual. You will need to have good IT skills, and have good organisational and time management skills. You will need to meet deadlines in terms of study. A full nationally recognised training package will be paid for and provided by the company if you do not have the qualifications needed.

Duties include receiving, unpacking and putting away orders, greeting and serving patients, prescription filing, answering the phone, using a till, taking and placing orders, handing out prescription to patients, assisting the pharmacy team, using computers daily, along with studying and training. You will be expected to learn quickly on the job, and make notes.
