Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and highly experienced Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician to join our friendly team in our pharmacy close to Glasgow University. We are located in a bustling area of Great Western Road and very close to the Kelvinbridge subway.
The ideal candidate will have several years experience and qualifications as a pharmacy dispenser with a strong focus on teamwork and patient care. This is a permanent position with opportunities for further training and promotion. Admin, office and tech skills will be an advantage.
Duties:
- Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assisting in the preparation of prescription orders for compliance aids.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
- Collaborating with others to deliver first class patient care
-Assisting with administrative tasks and comms.
-Assisting in the extra services commonly available in a community pharmacy
Qualifications:
- Previous experience and relevant qualifications as a pharmacy technician or dispenser
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Excellent team working skills and work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritising patient safety and care
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.50-15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
