The Collard Group are pleased to offer this exciting new role created to support the business in delivering its long term ambitious growth plans and increasing investment in plant and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of workshops including the recruitment and management of fitters, engineers and welders and the full implementation of the plant workshop management systems Developing preventative maintenance plans and ensuring service and inspection regimes are maintained to minimise downtime and maximise utilisation Supporting with the management of plant operations including the recruitment of drivers, selection of plant and ensuring daily inspection and service routines are being followed at site level Seek out opportunities for the external hire of plant and transport for times where there will be limited requirements within the Group Manage and motivate your team and communicate clear expectations ensuring capability and understanding of company requirements

The Successful candidate will have:

Have a minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within either plant hire, contracting, aggregates or recycling industries Have a strong technical knowledge of fixed and mobile plant. Have good communication, organisation and team working skills Be looking to develop a long-term career with the Collard Group
