Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health / Learning Disability Staff Nurses with 12 months post registration experience for NIGHT DUTY to join our team at a newly built independent mental health hospital based in Rhyl North Wales . We are currently embarking a new dynamic phase of our commissioning journey and need experienced nurses to help shape our services from the ground up .

Duties

Deliver comprehensive mental health care to patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualised care plans Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in behaviour or condition Administer medication accurately and ensure proper documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines Support patients with daily activities, promoting independence and recovery Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimise patient outcomes Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and managing risk effectively Provide emotional support and counselling to patients experiencing mental health challenges Keep detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress in compliance with legal and organisational standards

Experience

Proven 12 months experience as a Mental Health Nurse/ Learning Disability Nurse Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to mental health nursing practices Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centred care with empathy and professionalism Experience working with diverse patient groups, including those with complex mental health needs Familiarity with current mental health legislation, policies, and best practices is desirable

Essential requirements

Current registration as an RMN or RNLD with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Minimum 12 months post registration nursing experience The ability to work long days, nights and weekends DBS check suitable references

Pay: 44,000.00 per year
