As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the standards of hospitality that our establishment is known for.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Provide recommendations on menu items, showcasing upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations during busy periods. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.

Skills

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proficient in upselling techniques to enhance sales while providing excellent service. Basic culinary knowledge to assist in food preparation and understand menu items. Understanding of food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. A helpful attitude towards both guests and team members, fostering a positive work environment. Experience in restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
