Experienced Sia Door Security Part Time
Job Description
Y Bar is a busy bar and events venue operating in Guildford, Surrey. We are looking for an experienced and licensed SIA door security person (part-time) for weekend evening trading hours and when we hold events during the week.
The ideal candidate should be vigilant, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular surveillance rounds to monitor premises and identify any suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance.
Provide first aid or emergency response as required.
Implement and enforce loss prevention strategies to minimise theft or damage.
Monitor and control access points to the premises.
Complete detailed reports on incidents and observations.
Work with management to ensure the safety of the venue
Experience:
Valid SIA licence (essential).
Proven experience in security operations or a related field (essential).
Supervisory experience within security operation environment (desirable)
Proficiency with security equipment.
First aid certification is desirable.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures.
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
