We at Greenfields are looking for an experienced Soft Landscaping Team leader to join our expanding team. Greenfields is a family run, ambitious business located just outside Gloucester. We are looking for a driven individual that is an excellent team player that is reliable and trustworthy.

Role overview:

Lead and manage tasks to successfully deliver high quality projects safely and on time for our customers. This role is accountable for all aspects of the quality and delivery performance of any assigned tasks and with the Department Works Manager, for growing and developing the individuals within the team.

Lead the team

Implementation of department strategy and objectives as it relates to the team Customer satisfaction

Manage team members day to day for a high performing team

Task health and safety Care for all people in the team Individual development, training & performance management Team development & performance management Regular communication with the team

Manage projects

Task scheduling in line with planned work from the Works Manager Task quality and delivery to closure Running of the team day to day Effectively communicating RAMS to individuals within the team Delivering on the job training Site inductions Problem solving Quality control Effectively communicating with the client on site as required Carry out snagging works where necessary Maintain effective communication with management to ensure smooth completion of works Ensure good quality documenting of works and using Greenfields systems & processes correctly

The Ideal Candidate will:

Have a full driving license Have soft landscaping experience Be able to deliver physical tasks in all weather conditions Experience operating garden machinery (although training will be provided) Maintain effective communication with line manager Have good time keeping skills Have good organisational skills Excellent communication skills Be a team player but also willing to occasionally alone work when required Be self motivated, reliable and trustworthy Proven experience of working within a landscaping environment and handling and knowledge of plants
Hours will be 7:30 until 4:30 Monday to Friday with overtime to meet business requirements.
