Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solar sales representative with at least 1 years experience in direct sales to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with clients to promote sustainable energy solutions 10-15 pre qualified appointments per week, providing expert advice, and fostering long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the energy sector, and a proactive sales approach. Duties

Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective clients to assess their energy needs and recommend suitable Solar PV and Battery Storage Solutions. Present and explain energy plans, products, and services clearly and persuasively. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through sales strategies. Drive to client sites 10-15 per week across various locations within Herts, Beds and Bucks, ensuring punctuality and professionalism at all times. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries promptly and effectively. Keep detailed records of client interactions, sales progress, and follow-up actions using organisational tools. Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on product offerings, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making positively. Proven experience in residential solar energy sales, particularly within the energy or utilities sector. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor. Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in IT systems for data management and reporting purposes. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record to facilitate client visits. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple appointments. Good understanding of the energy industry, including renewable solutions.
