Position Overview
FTCH Group is seeking a polished, professional, and experienced Solar Sales Representative to manage pre-qualified appointments across the UK. This role will require strong industry knowledge, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver a premium consultative sales experience.
You will be responsible for visiting commercial premises and private homes, completing on-site assessments, presenting bespoke system proposals, and securing high-value contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales Excellence
Attend pre-qualified, pre-arranged site appointments--no cold calling
Conduct accurate on-site surveys, energy assessments, and system evaluations
Deliver high-standard presentations outlining system benefits, design, and ROI
Close deals with confidence, clarity, and professionalism
Maintain accurate customer journey notes within CRM systems
Commercial & Residential Focus
Build strong relationships with commercial clients, SMEs, property owners, and homeowners
Identify opportunities for solar PV, battery storage, and energy optimisation solutions
Ensure all recommendations are aligned with FTCH Group's MCS-accredited standards

Prior experience in solar, renewable energy, or high-level direct sales

Willingness to travel throughout the UK
Full UK driving licence
