a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.

We are looking for an experienced individual that is ready to adapt to our kitchen team, learn new recipes and methods, as well as successfully contribute your current knowledge and expertise when cooking on demand and during busy periods.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant lounge environment, supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and teamwork. Assisting with food preparation, and ensuring smooth daily functions within the restaurant.

FULL TIME ROLE

WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY

Duties

Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of food quality. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Coordinate food production activities to meet service times and customer expectations. Assist in inventory control and ordering supplies when necessary or instructed by head chef/ senior staff members. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to hygiene standards. Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service.

Experience

Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation. Experience working in a busy kitchen / restaurant setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
