Job Summary:

We're looking for an experienced Seamstress/Tailor for our dry clean shop based in South West London for 2 days a week.

Please note, only apply if you are able to travel to our shop in South West London.

Please only apply if you have sufficient and relevant experience in tailoring and alterations.

Responsibilities:

- Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to customer specifications

- Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit - Sew, stitch, and hem garments using various tools and techniques

- Replace zippers, buttons, and other fasteners as needed

- Press and steam garments to give them a polished appearance

- Assist customers in selecting appropriate fabrics and styles for custom orders

- Maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

- Proficient in operating sewing machines and other tailoring tools

- Strong knowledge of garment construction and alteration techniques

- Attention to detail and precision in measuring and sewing - Excellent hand

-eye coordination and manual dexterity

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Good communication skills to interact with customers

- Proven experience as a Tailor

- Time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.00 per hour
