We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive outstanding service, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with a smile. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing recommendations when necessary.
Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and service.
Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning duties.
Requirements
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with hospitality practices.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables during busy periods.
Experience in guest services with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing the dining experience for guests.
Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
