Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work with various materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and technical drawings. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to cut, shape, and weld materials. Perform mig welding and other welding techniques would be a bonus. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and processes.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Experience with mig welding and other welding methods. Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
