Job Description
Flexible Shifts Monday to Friday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
Operate extrusion lines according to precise customer specifications.
Set-up, operate and troubleshoot all equipment: extruders, controls, cooling baths, coilers, laser gauges, etc.
Weigh and mix materials according to production work order.
Record product & process data: production reports, data entry, etc. as required.
Daily and weekly planned maintenance of all equipment.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience of working in a continuous production environment. Experience in a plastics environment preferred (extrusion, injection moulding etc.). Strong mechanical aptitude, along with troubleshooting / problem solving skills. Basic Mathematical skills, including units of measure, fractions, and decimals. An understanding of polymer compounds and additives will be an advantage. Computer knowledge is required for data entry. Must be able to frequently lift / move up to 15Kg and occasionally lift / move 25Kg.

Pay: 12.46 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
